The parents have arrived from Louisiana. On the first leg of our grand Canadian adventure, we went to Quebec City. We (unknowingly) arrived just in time for Fetes de la Nouvelle France and we got lucky enough to catch a parade when we were walking down by the St. Lawrence river in the oldest part of the city.
