Christmas Time

Even at Honey's Maggie enjoyed her walker. She improved going forward a little as in she went forward about a step then took two-three steps backwards. She's getting there. Here she is backed into a corner waiting for someone to pull her out.




Seriously, Maggie has 4 Christmas outfits. Don't ask. Here they are. She wore the 1st one on Christmas Eve to Grandma and Grandpa 'Tilda's house.


On Christmas Day she wore two because she is such as diva she needed an outfit change for her guests. Actually, we think the red with white fluffies was a bit itchy for her. But it was too cute. And yes, she enjoyed the paper more than her presents :)






So we changed her into this one. It has a little gingerbread man she can put in her pocket, but mostly she was eating it.

And then the day after christmas we put her in a regular onesie. This girl has way too many clothes and I love it :)

Chris went out and shot some deer so I decided to cook the roast. I chose to find a new recipe so I prepared the deer using a 3 packet recipe. It turned out good. Tonight leftovers. And its kind of healthy :)

Pre-Christmas

The weekend before Christmas we took a short road trip to Houston (Tomball) to visit Gran and Papa. It turned out Honey, Big Daddy, Joe, Jack, Alice, and Audrey were also there so it turned out to be a fun filled weekend. (Not that we don't have fun without the other guests). Last time we were in Houston Maggie received a activity table and walker from Gran and Papa. Both were still big hits. She still loves being pushed in the walker and has the going backwards thing down. She is still working on going forward and her feet don't quite it the ground yet.

This trip she received Xmas presents from Uncle Brian and Honey and Big Daddy. All LSU attire. What are y'all thoughts....will she attend LSU or Texas??? :)

And last, we exposed Maggie to her 1st Xmas tree since we did not put one up this year. And true to Maggie's self she attempted to eat the tree and the ornament.
