Steve's birthday Party

Chris's lab mate just turned the big 3-0. So we went over to help him celebrate. While we were there Maggie got to hang out with some of her friends. Let me introduce you to a few of them.

This is Evie. She is about 3 months older than Maggie.
Evie let Maggie share her blankets so Maggie was able to look at the lovely trees above. Also you can check out how flexible Evie is. Although I didn't get a picture of it Evie was able to suck on her toes....yummy!

This is Aaedon who turned one a couple of months ago.
And this Aaedon's baby sister, Bruclyn (pronounced Brooklyn). She was born three weeks (premature) after Maggie. But she is growing so fast and has already doubled her birth weight, which Maggie hasn't even done. Go Bruclyn!!!

Maggie update-Week 9-12

Here is my little girl getting ready for school. First she eats...then burps.

Then she just waits for Chris and I to gather all the bags

And finally...we get her and take her to school to hang out with Miss Cindy and her friends.

I added these next three pics just for some extra cuteness. You can't wrong with that.

Maggie and I were just hanging out at the apartment when all of the sudden I felt something warm and wet. It turns out Maggie decided to poop all over me. Pamper swaddlers are no match for my baby girl that day. It looks like mustard, but it is indeed SHIT. Looks like I am officially initiated into motherhood.

Watch out Ariel...our little mermaid is testing out the water for the first time. When we got out to the pool she had to just chill with her sunglasses and cute bathing suit to check out the crowd. Once it got a little too hot to handle she had to take a dip.
Maggie is getting tossed between Chris and I so we could take turns swimming in the water ourselves. Maggie went into the water waist down.
Now she is drying off and is soon going down for a long nap sine the 40 min outside tired her out. Yay for pool time.

Maggie listening to her new personalized CD that Nanan gave her. Every song on the CD has her name in it. She loves it :)

Just to let everyone know....Maggie is still enjoying tummy time everyday.

Maggie plays in her jumperoo for the 1st time. Chris and I had to bounce her ourselves, but she did enjoy it. If she decides to play with it by herself we put a cell biology text book and my high school yearbook under because she doesn't quite reach the ground just yet.

Someone call pest control....

....because we found a caterpillar in our apartment. Haha. Of course, we had to try on Maggie's halloween costume early. A tad big, but she has 2 months to grow into it.

We have a rolly polly

Finally!!! One week ago Maggie rolled over and I was so close to getting it on camera. Then she rolled again the next day. After Wednesday she stopped rolling over during tummy time so I assumed it was a random fluke. Well, today I put her on her tummy and she rolled over so quick I thought maybe her hand was under her to help her cheat. After that I put her back on her tummy and made sure her hands were flat so she couldn't cheat. I also had the camera ready. Okay....here it is :)

July28-June 11 Updates (Week 7 and 8)

I think I will try to update this blog every two weeks. That sounds good...right?

Chris and I call this outfit her karate kid outfit.

Maggie finally fits into her red polka dot dress. Chris and I bought this dress before she was born thinking it would be her going home outfit if we had a girl. Little did we know that it was way too big :{

Grandpa Mo rocking Maggie on the front porch. Grandpa Mo is 100% sure Maggie prefers outdoors all the time.

These next few pictures are of Maggie in her cute little hat, which Honey purchased of etsy. My favorite is the last photo where she is in her carseat.

Honey playing with Maggie at Aunt Bertha's house.

Maggie playing with her daddy before nap time.
Maggie looking at herself in the mirror....she is so vain.

Chris rocking Maggie to sleep and........

.....thirty minutes later he manages to put her and himself to sleep.

Chris holding a cranky Maggie.

Of course, I have to show these pictures of my Maggie showing off her new outfit. In case you had any doubts she is in fact a princess....just read her shirt. Duh!
Maggie turned two months on August 7th....Yay for Maggie!!!

We went to visit Gran and Papa this past weekend. And as usual we had lots and lots of yummy food. I am now officially addicted to blueberry buckle (I am going to attempt to make this weekend in Corpus Christi).
Maggie played with her new toys that Gran and Papa gave her. She recieved some teething toys, which included my favorite, a bunny with its hands and feet as plastic teeters (oh, the bunny rattles as well). And since Chris is a Red Sox fan Papa also gave Maggie a Red Sox onesie.

So this is what she looks like when she is on my shoulder...so cute :)
Maggie just chillin' at gran and papa's house

After we get home from daycare, Maggie usually has about an hour stretch were she is really happy. So I sit down with her and play with her on her playmat. Here Maggie is enjoying tummy time.

This is what Maggie's face looks like when she is staring out her flashy star. It's almost like she is getting brainwashed :{

Maggie playing in her swing while mommy/daddy prepare work next day (washing bottles/pumping). This is before her last feeding.
