Madame Zaritska predictions

Who is Madame Zaritska? She is a virtual clairvoyant that predicts my birth experience.

Was Madame Zaritska correct when I was pregnant with Maggie?
Recap of what she predicted last time (she previous post form March 25, 2009): The day I deliver, outside will be dark. Your baby will arrive in the middle of the night. Wrong---Maggie was born around 10 am in the morning on a hot sunny day. After a labor lasting approximately 15 hours Pretty close, your child, a boy WRONG, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 4 pounds, 9 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long Wrong--Maggie was 7 lbs 6 oz and 20 inches long. This child will have dark gray eyes and a little patch of black hair Wrong....little does not describe the locks she was born with.

Here is what Madame Zaritska predicts for baby #2:
The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in the early morning. After a labor lasting approximately 15 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 12 pounds, 9 ounces, and will be 21 -1/2 inches long. This child will have dark brown eyes and barely there black hair.
If almost everything is wrong, the truth will be: I will have a boy on a clear night that weighs a normal weight (not 12 lbs :{ ).

Birthday Party Fun!

About a month ago we went to Maggie's classmates party. Kids running wild....This picture is Maggie being chased by Peter and she looks happy. But after two laps around the room I think she wanted to stop and Peter kept chasing her so it turned into tears. Luckily Peter found someone else to chase. Here she is with Alara. They tried on every mask they could get their hands on. Lastly, pinata time. Maggie had a better swing then most of the boys.

Boy or girl???

Here are the latest baby pics we were able to get a couple of weeks ago when I was 17 weeks and 5 days pregnant. This photo is of baby #2 just staring directly at you with the mouth wide open. Chris and I call this 'the alien baby' The next few photos were rendered 3D, probably based on some algorithm. Baby #2 looks like he/she is sucking on the thumb. But I assure you the baby was not doing that. It was just waving his hands back and forth the whole time. It may have something to do with the starbucks coffee I just consumed 10 min before the ultrasound. The last two are my favorite because you not only can make out a little of the face, but you can also see the spine. His/her hands are near the ears. Maybe we were being a little too loud.

Lego time with Dad

Maggie and her Dad love building things with legos. Here is their latest creation....castle with covered parking and a balcony. I think Maggie is ready for real legos since I see her playing with them at school.

Story time

Maggie still doesn't like real life characters. We went to story time at Barnes and Nobles and the Cat was there to greet all the kids. Everyone stood in line for a picture except for Maggie. These are the best photos I got of Maggie and the cat. She did enjoy the arts and crafts part of story time.
