Maggie hopped on her hands and knees all the way down the hall (~10 yards) to go to bed. She is getting to be super silly lately.

Lake of the Woods

We finally got a weekend without rain, so instead of sitting around the house and drinking Mexican martinis, we decided to check out Lake of the Woods park in Mahomet, IL (about 10 miles from Champaign). Before going, Maggie and I had to Google some info on the park. Maggie really likes her "computer," which is actually a portable DVD player that Gran bought for her.



On the way to the park, Maggie took a little nap and, true to form, as soon as we got there, it started to rain. After the rain cleared up, we walked around the lake a little bit and walked across the suspension bridge (which was a big hit for Maggie).







We also rented a little paddle boat so that Maggie could get out on the water. She was a little hesitant at first (though we are not sure if this was because of the water, the life jacket, or the scary looking dudes who rented us the boat), but after chugging some strawberry-banana smoothie, she calmed down a bit and enjoyed the ride.









We also had time to do a little Illinois style rock climbing.
