Maggie's 5th-6th week pictures

I got around to upload some of my favorite photos from the last two weeks. I went back to work yesterday so we have Maggie's 1st day of preschool pictures down below.

She has been smiling more, but I never have the camera near. This is the closest I have her smiling on camera. This was right before her bed time.

Maggie's cute little belly....believe it or not she actually is fatter. I can't keep up with her growth rate :( My little baby is growing too fast.

So far this is my favorite outfit...maybe its just the bow, but she looks so darn cute :)

About Me, NOT Maggie

I was about to rename our blog to Maggie b/c that is all I have been posting about (I probably rename our blog to include her). So this post is about me.

I have not felt too big since birth b/c I have been wearing nursing tanks/stretchy skirts. It was not until yesterday when I was getting ready for church that I realized how big I am. So today I am going to watch what I eat and continue to workout so I can lose the remaining 20 lbs I gained during my pregnancy.

Father's Day

Maggie and her Daddy celebrated their 1st fathers day by relaxing all day and eating cinnamon rolls. Since she sleeps in most mornings she decided to leave Daddy's presents in her pack-n-play

She gave her Dad the Ergo so she can be closer to her Dad.

She wanted to wear her 'I love Daddy' oneise.

She's already becoming Daddy's Little Girl :)

Despite her crying in all these pictures she is actually quite calm during bathing. I guess I am just a horrible photographer.

1 month old

Maggie turned 1 month on July 7th.

2 week pro pics

Maggie went to take some newborn pictures when she was 2 weeks old. Now she is 6 weeks and she is so much bigger. She is growing too fast :)

5 week update

To start of I really need to get my butt in gear about posting. Since we left the hospital everything is going great. Well, it has not been that great the entire time.

The 1st bump in the road was feeding the baby, i.e. breast feeding. I never imagined that it would hurt so bad. Maggie tore up my very sensitive nipples before we even left the hospital. Then when we got home my milk came in and I was so engorged it made me cry. After that we decided to use nipple shields. Things finally were working out. Once I had time to recover from sore/crack nipples and engorgement (around 3 weeks) I was ready to ditch the shields. But as it turns out that was also a problem. Maggie took a while to figure it out. Now 5 weeks after she was born breast feeding is finally on the right track.

The 2nd bump we have had was Maggie did not want to poop when she came home. On day 5 of Maggies life her daddy gave her a suppository and then she pooped a whole bunch....too much :)

Those are the two major problems we had. Other than that nothing major has happen. Maggie still does not have a sleep or eating pattern so every day is different. She is getting stronger every day. She holds her head up a little longer every day and kicks really strong as well.
