Since Bea's birthday is already halfway though the summer, we decided to get her present now so that she could enjoy it this year. As soon as we left the store, she started showing off.
We were informed by mall security a few minutes later that this was unsafe behavior and we were told to stop.
While on the subject of Bea, here is a video I snuck of her in the tub, where she's dishing out some serious discipline to her mermaids.
Quebec City is probably the coolest city I have ever been to. The old city is about 400 years old and is completely surrounded by ramparts that are still in tact. The city sits at a strategic high point along the St. Lawrence river and served as the most important military post for both the French and the the British. Despite several major battles during the French and Indian War, the old city was basically completely unharmed, so most of the original architecture is still in tact.
Here are some pictures we took while in the old city.
