Here are a few more Christmas pictures. This year, we added a few more decorations to the outside of the house. We are starting to amass quite an arsenal. Check out our mechanized reindeer...
...trust me, they actually move. Here's Maggie with a few of her Christmas presents. First, Gran and Papa sent a pizza that Maggie can cut into slices and serve to me and Gabby. Pizza is one of Maggie's favorite food groups. The other day, she ate 3 pieces of a LARGE pizza from Papa John's.
In this picture, Lego Cinderella's horse appears to be harassing Barbie Cinderella.
Finally, Maggie has really been working on her letters. She is already pretty good at writing her name and she is working on some other words as well.
Last but not least, on behalf of our family, Maggie wanted to say something to all of you who sent us presents and Christmas cards:
We hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

On our trip to Corpus, here are some picture Gabby took while running one morning.
Here we are at the taqueria.
Here's Maggie and Olivia wearing matching skirts.
Here are a variety of family pictures:
Grandma Lalo on her 80th birthday:
The mariachis.
Maggie and Jade.
Maggie after eating some sort of purple junk food.
Gabby and me in a shirt I stole from Eddy.

Redfish
A few days before Thanksgiving, Eddie and I went fishing at the jetties in Port Aransas. This was pretty much the only thing we caught. I BBQ'd it a few days later.

houston museum
After the zoo, we zipped over to the Houston Museum of Natural History. According to Wikipedia, this is the 4th most visited non-Smithsonian museum in the United States. Here is Maggie riding the caterpillar on our way to the butterfly atrium.
Here we are in the atrium looking at all of the tropical butterflies.
In this touching scene, Maggie is empathizing with the zebra whose leg was torn off by the King of the Serengeti.
Here we are next to the fossilized skeleton of what used to be called a brontosaurus, but which has now been subsequently re-categorized by paleotaxonomists into a species name that I wouldn't have been able to remember if Gabby had not taken the last photo shown below.
