Indianapolis Zoo

It was a small, but nice zoo. It only took us a couple of hours to walk around, but it was also a drizzly day, so we didn't really take the time that we otherwise probably would have.

In the reptile house, I saw this cobra.  Didn't Tootsie used to have one of these?

Maggie with the lions.

Here's Bea getting a close look at the walrus and dolphins.  In case you haven't noticed, yet, when Bea hops, it means she's happy/excited.

I think Bea enjoyed the bird cage the most.  I'm just happy she didn't step on one.

All in all, we had a nice weekend trip to Indianapolis.  If LSU plays well this weekend, We may also be making another trip to Omaha in the near future.

Finally, Maggie has officially finished Kindergarten.  I took her to celebrate with her favorite food.

Videos from the Indianapolis Children's Museum

We have so many videos, that I will not be able to post them all at one time. It is important that you all do something other than look at your computer all day. I'll split our trip to Indy up over a few days, so keep checking.

Here's the grand entrance to the Dinosaur room and Bea's attempt to deface museum property.

Here's Bea guarding her dinosaur eggs.

First, the music room was a big hit for all varieties of song and dance.

Bea really loved this thing that spit out these little cloth butterflies. Just look at her reaction near the end of the video.

Here, Bea uses her little twirly dance to show how much she enjoys the wind machine.

Here's Bea doing "Happy Face, Sad Face."

Much more to come, so keep checking.
