Lucie's standing skills have really improved over the last two weeks.  In this video, she flawlessly executes multiple twist and grab movements without falling.  At 7 months, I think she's on track to walk sooner than Bea did (10.5 months).

Lucie also really enjoys the swings at the park, now.

Finally, here's a nice video of Lucie's free-loading older sister, Beatrice, who didn't want to put forth the effort to propel her own scooter.

A few pictures

Lucie is eating solid food three times a day now.  She is not very picky, other than with sour stuff (which she pretty much won't touch).  One of Lucie's best friends is our neighbor Aike (pronounced eye-key).  One of Aike's favorite past-times is feeding Lucie, so it's a win-win situation.

Gabby's friend from Texas also came to visit us with her 2 year old daughter, Penelope.

We took a day trip to Mt. Tremblant (both the city and the national park).  After a good lunch in the scenic Mt. Tremblant downtown, we headed to some of our favorite spots in the park.  We'll have more pictures to post in the future, but for now, here's one with everyone behaving normally.

Birthday Wishes

Happy 85th birthday Papa-T!!!

Four years ago, we were hoping that Bea would be born on your birthday (her due date was August 4th), but lucky for us, she arrived one week early.  This means, of course, that we recently celebrated her birthday in our typical grand fashion.

Birthday candles sure have come a long way since my childhood.  Hope everyone is having a cool summer (we sure are in Canada!!).
