Don't let her fool you...

Maggie can be sneaky sometimes. She pretended she didn't know how to hold her bottle today when there was a substitute teacher. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky. BTW, she knows how to hold her bottle now.

Maggie is 8 months, 1 week and days

Ten on Tuesday

1. Chris is on an interview right now as I type. Good luck Chris :)

2. I have not heard back from my interview three weeks ago...not a good sign :(

3. I'm 95% sure I can get another interview in Boston.

4. My puzzle skills may have to go on hold for a while b/c Maggie eyes the pieces like crazy and she lunges for them like they were candy. And I don't have anywhere I can store the puzzle in progress. I am a little disappointed.

5. I am not sure if I can come up with 10 random thoughts

6. Googled puzzle mat and there are mats you can roll up. Anyone used these? Reviews are 1/2 bad, 1/2 good. What do y'all think? Purchase or waste of money?

7. I need to start running. I know I have time, but I have become so lazy. Who knew I could get lazier (not sure if that's a word, but I don't feel like looking it up).

8. I hope when I get home my camera bag is sitting at the door.

9. I love figure skating. Well, I love watching them fall. If I had to pick a sport Maggie excelled at it would be tennis...hands down. Then soccer.

10. I am grateful that Maggie decided to take an evening nap tonight (unlike last night) so I can eat dinner and play on the internet quietly.

Playing with new camera :)

Maggie loves being lifted in the air. She giggles so much when we do this.

Chris is playing with camera.

I am playing with the camera.

Look she can stand I don't have to worry about her falling (although she does fall just not so much anymore)

Hmmm...how can Maggie wake Daddy up???
Success. Daddy is up and playing with her.

Girls getting ready.

Maggie and I don't wake up beautiful...we have to work at it; especially in the morning :) After we are done we like looking at each other and ourselves in the mirror.

On the move??????

Look who might be crawling soon (sorry about the light).....

Chris turned 3-0

This year was the year Chris enters the 4th decade. His parents came in and took us to Pappadeauxs :) When we were there Maggie tasted the limes and lemons. She actually enjoyed the lime, but not the lemon (bawhahaha).

Afterwards, we watched the Saints game. Maggie really tried to get Papaws beer.

Puff Eater

During Maggie's 7 month-- she started feeding herself. We started with puffs (apple banana and sweet potato flavors). Within the last three weeks she really has improved her hand eye coordination and she can eat a dozen in 5 minutes.

Maggie is 7 months!!!

HA. She is about to be 8 months in a week. I am so behind on this blog. Here is my adorable daughter. She is the cutest baby EVER :) Maggie is now eating three meals a day and started puffs. Puffs are like cheerios, but they dissolve in your mouth easier.

This was Maggie before I changed her into 7 month onesie. Happily playing with her toys. The last 7 months have been incredible.

#3 on the 101 list

Can I get a WoOt wOoT!!! Chris and I invested some money on a kick butt camera. We bought a Canon Rebel XSi and are trying to learn how to use it now :)

This week we are exploring aperture. These photos are courtesy of Chris. As you can see, the lower the aperture the less focus the background is (aperture is increasing as you scroll down). Chris focused on the frog so you should focus on the tree branches to see the effects of aperture.
