How messy eating dinner can be.

I eat my food....

I throw my food....

And I deny throwing food....

But, we caught everything on video...

Finally, Maggie and her evil laugh watching us clean her mess. When she gets older we will laugh at her when we make her clean her own mess.

Hessel Park and night light fun

Going to parks can be very tiring.

But after a nap all the energy returns

Early XMAS Post

Santa came early to our house this year (b/c it was on craigslist for a great price :) ) Unfortunately, Santa did not leave any dishes or food :(

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

As you can see. Maggie was not thrilled to be dressed as a butterfly.

After a little (candy) bribe Maggie decided to tolerate her costume for a few pictures and 3 trick or treat houses.

Hangin' out at the house

Now that she actually has room to move around, Maggie sometimes enjoys just playing inside the house. Some of her favorite indoor activities are:

Relaxing in her chair with a cozy blanket and watching television (most likely Yo Gaba Gaba!),

Searching through bags and purses for lost and/or interesting items,

Playing with her purple ball,

Studying the form and meaning of modern literature (this particular intellectual masterpiece revolves around the central theme that puppies are cute),

and, of course, dancing/running in the hall.

Halloween is nearly upon us!!!

Gabby and Maggie went to a local pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect specimen for our annual jack-o-lantern.

As you can see, Maggie was fired up for the event, so she donned one of her scariest outfits.

After a few minutes of searching, she decided to take a little break.

Still looking for the perfect pumpkin....

None of the pre-picked pumpkins were good enough for her so Maggie decided to hike to the "real" pumpkin patch.

Maggie was getting impatient with mom, who kept lagging behind.

Sometimes, to find the real treasures, you have to get off the beaten path.

Maybe this one...

How about the unusual green pumpkin? I hope Maggie's fascination with the odd-balls doesn't translate into her selection of boy friends.

Still debating....

Alas, all that hard work got Maggie tired. Time for donuts and apple cider. All four of Maggie's molars are coming in. She now makes quick work of soft foods.

They finally settled on this one. Looks like daddy is going to have to stop by the medical surplus outlet to pick up an inner ear surgery kit before he'll be able to carve this jack-o-lantern up.

Someone tell that kid that it isn't a ball!
