Wantland Plow day
Maggie's friend from school, Anthony, invited us to his grandfathers community get-together called the Wantland Plow day. It basically is a large get together of old tractors and they plow the fields the old-fashion way. Apparently, farmers love their tractors and showing them off. It turned out to be a beautiful day and we had fun. Here are some highlights...
We first got out there and we just checked out the tractors around us.
We even hopped on the mini tractor.
Around this time Maggie was offered a ride on a big tractor, but she refused. Instead, she enjoyed the corn box.
We finally found her friends and decided to eat some hotdogs and chili.
It's good to note, baby Bea was sleeping during the 1st half, but when she woke up she was hungry so we headed to car for her to eat.
Finally, the boys Maggie was hanging out with wanted to ride a tractor, therefore, Maggie now wants to ride a tractor. Anthonys Grandpa gave Maggie (and Chris) a ride. I believe Chris was able too drive the tractor too :)
Lastly, Maggie gathered natures treasures, which included plowed dirt and corn husks (all these treasures are scattered on the floor of my car...yay!)

Some Autumn Pictures
Here are some Ginko trees near the Physics building on the Illinois campus.
The maple trees seem to come in a hundred different varieties up here.
At the park.
The leaves started falling off our sycamore trees this week. After a cool rain, they looked more colorful than usual.
Here's a drive through a nice neighborhood in Urbana adjacent to the campus and a video of Maggie doing a flip on the monkey bar.
