Houston Zoo

During our visit to Texas over the Thanksgiving holiday, we made the obligatory trip to the Houston Zoo and Museum of Natural History.

 Here are Maggie, Gabby, and Gran pondering their simian origins.

We got there in time to feed lettuce to the giraffes. Maggie was quite enthusiastic until she saw this giraffe's foot long tongue.

And, of course, we rode the carousel a few times.
